GenerationBIG!

GenerationBIG (www.generationb.org) is a collaborative initiative of BBBS of Puget Sound and Senior Services whose goal is to match elementary schoolchildren with adult mentors 55 and over who can provide emotional support, personal attention and positive role models.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound (www.bbbsps.org) has matched more than 2,500 children a year in its five-county region with caring mentors.

Senior Services (www.seniorservices.org), Washington's largest nonprofit organization for older adults, annually serves 50,000 Seattle-area residents ages 55 years and above. Its seven centers in the area offer fitness programs, social and educational activities, and opportunities to volunteer in the community.
